Hydramark
Hydramark is an industrial coding and marking printer designed by Skalene aimed at the FMCG and end of line product customisation. The Hydramark utilises up to 256 independently controlled fibre coupled laser diodes to covering a 50mm print swathe (120dpi).
Skalene have taken a modular approach to the design allowing four 64-channel systems to be synchronised and controlled from one universal controller with the option of 4 independent moveable printheads.
The printer has no moving parts and benefits from the robustness of laser diodes resulting in an extremely low maintenance printer with no downtime, a big priority with FMCG customers.
Hydramark Laser Diode Array Printer is a modular system capable of upto 256 independantly controlled 8W laser diodes

The Hydramark64 installed on a customers giftcard customisation line printing 15,000 cards/hr with variable data
Key advantages:
Prints while products are moving and speed not limited by print width or galvoptics speed
Benefits from reliable laser diode technology
Low maintenance due to no moving parts and no ink
Capable of high speed variable data
Small printhead design (150mm x 100mm x 100mm)
Working distances of up to 100mm
Not sensitve to line speed variations
Individual pixel control of 100KHz at 9A per laser
On-the-fly greyscale printing
Capable of grade A/B barcodes
Intuitive software for template creation and variable data management
Web-based control panel for online monitoring remotely
